I have been working as a photographer in the entertainment industry for over 16 years. I've photographed musicians, actors, authors, presenters, newsreaders, business people and celebrities, in the studio and on location, all around the world.

My aim for a headshot shoot is that you have an enjoyable, stress free shoot and come away with some great pictures that show you at your best and effectively convey the looks that you want to communicate to casting directors.

To do this I keep the photography clean and simple. This is about showcasing you, first and foremost, so I shoot clean, flattering, bright, modern looking portraits that show you at your best. Although I have shot people in many different styles for TV shoes, magazines etc I believe that the key to a great headshot is simplicity.

However, it is fast becoming the norm that in addition to straight headshots, actors also use more editorial style portraits to promote themselves, and so if you would like to explore the option of shooting a more stylised, creative portrait look just speak to me and we can discuss the options.

I have worked with many people who feel uncomfortable in front of the camera, so if baring your soul for a photoshoot isn't something that you feel 100% comfortable with that's fine, we can work together to find the angles and expressions that work for you and bring out your best look for the camera. My job is to help you convey the looks that you want to achieve, and also to give you the space to try out expressions and emotions without rushing you through a standard set of poses and angles. We will work together to get the result you need.
